I cranked Rock of Ages in his honor at work today. Will probably watch The Last Waltz tonight.

Godspeed over that Great Divide, Levon.

My dad used to play The Band's Big Pink all the time when we were kids. This was one of my favorite songs (this was off of Jericho):

Very sad news. It's a shame it didn't get more media coverage. My favorite off Music from Big Pink was Tears of Rage.

I'm not much of a believer in heaven and hell and all that jazz but I think somewhere out there Levon, Rick Danko and Richard Manuel are playing some fine music together, again. I had a lot of good times listening to them.

When I think of Levon, I think of something that I heard someone else in the business tell me about him.

Levon likes his money. He was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas day, when the New York Times said "God is dead, and the War's begun".

When I get of a this mountain, you know where I'm gonna go...straight down the Mississippi River to wish Levon the best. Rest In Peace.
