Like others have said, he is a big reason that ISU Men's Basketball is where it is at today. His play on the big stage of NCAA tourney opened the eyes of recruits to come play Hoiball.

Also, can't believe I got in before the standard #bewell in every thread about Royce.

I am probably the only one but I'll never forget during the Kentucky game before it got away from us Royce dunked it I think and the camera focused in on him and he just yelled the words pretty clear that "I'm the best player here", and that game I think he was, goosebumps for me....

I got the same feeling when I saw that. I know it upset Kentucky fans, but I loved it, and couldn't exactly say I didn't agree.

Yes, I remember that as well. He was saying it to a clump of Cyclone fans - the camera shot made it look like he was saying it to the world, and that's what riled the UK fans. Unfortunately, it was also just before UK went on a huge run. Cause & effect? Maybe. But if he wasn't the best in that game, he was pretty dang close.

Despite his disaster sequence of events since he left Iowa State he was nothing but a great role model and ambassador of Iowa State while he was here and did nothing wrong. He really propelled us to a national spotlight and helped get us to the tourney. I hope he has a warm welcome back as he clearly loves Iowa State university with a passion and loves Fred and all the fans. He doesn't deserve to get mocked while he is here. Leave that to twitter if you really feel the need to do it.

Those are truly incredible sources. They make the National Enquirer look like the Washington Post.

What do you expect, it's all rumors anyways. What credible news source would waste their time doing a story on that anyways? "Royce throws crazy sex orgy at Houston home over the weekend", "You read it here first from the New York Times" I'm sure there readers/subscribers would be thrilled to read about a no name draft bust and his personal hobbies and it isn't exactly relatable to have espn report on it.

Well he gang banged a chick with his friends and filmed it, knocked up like 5 women and gave one of them $20k to get an abortion and he didn't punch a baby but he was accused of hitting his girlfriend with a lamp so pretty much has done all the things you said.

Not to say that he is an angel, but I thought some of these accusations are the work of people trying to take advantage of him (seems like the stories have slowed down now that he is no longer an NBA player). I don't like seeing this forum used to pass old misinformation that makes one of our favorites look even worse.

It all originated from this site Exclusive Pics Of Royce White Involved in Group Sex, Drugs & Guns!!!. The proof seems to lie in him being in the background of a shot where two chicks in bikinis are laying on some other dude. It doesn't look that bad even out of coontext, who knows what's really going on. The page also has a picture showing him blowing a lot of smoke out of his mouth and claims it is proof he is getting high. This is pretty flimsy evidence to back up either claim.

It's always been all about what Royce White wants. I'm happy NBA teams have finally started telling him to F off. He's kind of like the star athlete from every high school that talks about the glory days non stop but fails out of college for boozing too much. Iowa State was Royce Whites high school, which is cool for us but eventually we lose credibility because he decides to pursue a living telling people about a disease he refuses to accept treatment for.

Relax, i was joking around. I agree Fred and ISU helped Royce while he was a Cyclone tremendously. After he left his own poor choices have left him jobless.
