I'm getting more and more nervous that he will be gone after this season.
I hope Royce and Co. have so much fun this season that he comes back. I do, however, think that Railey might be gone after this year. Just a gut feeling.

Honestly, with the ridiculous amount of shooters on this team, I don't think zone killing is even a question this year. It would be extremely difficult to contain us with a zone.
Any team that plays zone against us is playing with dynamite.

We're going to run and he gives us another guy that can push the pace. We don't have to try to find one or two guys to get the ball to after a rebound. Nearly the entire team can handle the ball in a fast break situation. This is less about RW handling the point in a set offense and more about options during a break after a rebound. And, has been stated before, RW can be a ball handling option when being pressed. We may be nearly impossible to effectively press.
I like Railey also. He just needs more time to develop. Lord knows we need the big body.
I hope he stays all 4 years and see him as a solid contributor down the road.
The staff likes Railey's work ethic and attitude. Let's just say it is better than Calvin's was.
The "sagging off" thing only works if you're talking about a bricklayer, which is not the case here.
If you sag off this guy he's only going to get closer to the rim before he's wows you with a pass.
from what I heard, given the choice between Railey and Godfrey, the coaching staff would pick Railey every time, despite the better numbers that Godfrey put up during his freshman year.
This team is going as far as the defense will take it. Whoever we have at point is going to be out of position or inexperienced. We have some pieces to be better than we've been in the half court, but we are going to have to get out and run to have the special kind of year we all anticipate. We have some size to hopefully rebound more consistently, and we'll try to run off any rebound or turnover we can get. It will be interesting to see if we turn up the pressure on D now that we have some depth. We've got the depth and the horses to turn it into a track meet, hopefully we find some meat to slug it out with teams like A&M.
