I would imagine Pollard has been working on a contract extension/raise for a few weeks now. I would imagine in the next couple weeks something will get announced.
It better be announced this week.
I'm hearing either today or tomorrow

It better be at least $3mil and 4 years. I'd like to see the same incentives, too.
Yup manning needs to go, Every game we have lost this year is because of the offense. The defense has played its hearts out and the offense could not even muster a few scores.
the OP said longer term, higher salary, and reduced incentives to make up for the higher salary. i don't think it gave a date, but i read elsewhere someone who said the same thing mentioned it would be today or tomorrow. could be a case of cyclical sourcing, though.
Again, if you are full of **** on this, I WILL throw something at you!

I agree, but more than that, with the extension, protect yourself with a bigger buyout....I'd be fairly happy with any kind of extension as of now.

The buyout isn’t going to be bigger. We are lucky we had the big one from the start. I bet very few coaches have the type of buyout Campbell has.
I bet a lot of future contracts WILL have this type of clause to protect the university. You're taking a chance on the coach hire. You should have some sort of buy-out protection in case he doesn't meet his contractual obligation to stay until the end of the contracted period.
Of course the schools want it. The coaches won’t sign it though.
it depends if the buyouts are universal from a pillage versus let go perspective. A lot of the firing over the weekend had huge buyouts.... I think pushing over 10 mil is just going to show commitment from both sides....The buyout isn’t going to be bigger. We are lucky we had the big one from the start.
