This is a low level position? Hire Vaughn's dad and bring son with, thats what Kansas does.

Are you serious? If so, I want ammo for bashing my KU relatives. For whom have they done this?

The Collison's and the Hinrich's both moved down to Lawrence area. In this case, both dads were coaches or at least teachers. Kansas finds jobs for any parent that needs one.

We already have an assistant DBO named Marcus something. He came from FL last year I believe b/c the staff knew Rutter wouldnt be here long term.

I talked to Dedric Willoughby last year and he said he was looking into getting into coaching. Any chance of that happening?

Danny Manning's father, Ed Manning, was hired as an assistant coach under Larry Brown in 1984 and stayed a coach at Kansas until 1988.

Unrelated to that, Danny played at Kansas from 1984 to 1988....

FWIW, I am hearing the same thing.

Also hearing that some sort of combination of Michah Byars (current Director of Player Development) and Charlie Henry (current GA) will man the ops positions. In what order, I do not know.

CW - Any chances of a current Cyclone staying on the staff to fill that GA spot? I am guessing most will try their luck professionally somewhere but I would love to have Babb on the staff.

I can only assume that Babb is going to try to play professional ball somewhere next year. In fact, I'd guess that will be the case for all of those guys. Just guessing, but I think what you are asking about is doubtful.
