Same side sitters

She usually takes a big bite, enough to feed both of us, and then chews it up and dumps half into my mouth. Saves time, I don't have to do anything, and the food is already chewed for me!

Ahh the old baby bird technique.

weird and creepy. i usually assume the male in this scenario to be a psychotic control freak who probably beats his wife behind closed doors.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

I'll let her sit on whatever side of the table she wants, as long as she's sitting on my face after dinner back at my place.

The only time my wife and I do this is if we're dining out while an ISU basketball or football game is on TV so we can both watch. Otherwise, we sit opposite sides. I think this is the only truly acceptable situation.

I'll take it one step further...

I witnessed a couple same-sit in a sports bar during Monday Night Football. I figured it was to both get a view of the game. Turns out it was the OTHER side they sat on. When they turned the booth TV to The Bachelor I was perplexed. When they turned the sound way up I was p***ed!

What about at a round table? The wife and I went to BWW the other day and they sat the 2 of us at a round table meant for 6. We sat next to each other, but everything about it felt wrong. But I don't think there was a correct answer to this problem! :twitcy:

Round tables are one exception, i agree... if its a round table i sit by my wife... booth no way. square tables we dont sit opposite, but def not on same side.

Huh, I guess not many wives/girlfriends of folks on here like to wear skirts or short-ish shorts. Side-by-side is definitely the better option.

My girlfriend thinks she has fat legs (which is not true at all) so no she hardly wears skirts.

I side sat with my wife at the Uk-ISU game so we could both see the tv.

The only time I sit next to my wife is if she sits down first and that is the side of the table with the best sight line to the TV that I want to watch.

Gawd dammed confused here. So is there one acceptable situation, or two? If two, those seem awwful similar to me.
