BUT I actually don't mind it. Easier for her to reach my crotch. Just saying...

Listen, I like nookie as much as the next guy, but when there is a plate of fried chicken in front me, I am all business.

Not exactly sure.
When with couples I like to sit on the same side as the other wife. Then I accidentally spill water in her lap and see if she minds when I clean it up.

Sitting beside your wife is just weird.

Hmm, seems women like to do this because my girlfriend used to do this until I had her properly trained.

I think there was a study a while back (a long while) that when a woman likes a man she wants to sit next to him, but when a man likes a woman, he wants to sit across from her.

If it's just the two of you and

1. You're on your honeymoon or
2. Just announced your engagement or
3. Went out for a meal immediately after the first time you did it, then:

Same side is okay

Otherwise, it's just a bit too pushy for my taste.

I do always go for the "side with the best view" when I go to a restaurant. Sometimes that's the side where you can people watch more people and sometimes it's the best view of the game.

No, not ok, not even in those circumstances.

What about when you go to that ritzy restaurant with a bench or chairs the two of you sit on then they move the table up in front of you? It's only happened to me once, but it definitely felt weird.

These days we just wonder which of us is going to be stuck with both kids on their side while the other gets the whole other side of the booth to themself.

Well I'm going to have to trade in for a new model, can't have her liking me too much soon she will be expecting me to marry her or something.

I like to have my wife sit on my lap at most restaurants. It just takes it to that next level where people are just confused rather than creeped out.
