Gents, there is no way a 2 loss ISU team is making the CFP, even if we boat race OU next week. Just enjoy what we have. CFP will move Georgia ahead of us this week. We can overtake them next week with win over OU, but top 4 are virtual locks unless NW upsets OSU. And we all know that is not happening. B1G West is absolute garbage and NW is going to get destroyed.

Even if UF beats UA, UA will be in. Even if ND beats Clemson again, a two loss Clemson will be in over us.

Our ceiling is Cotton Bowl against TA&M. Our floor is Alamo. Times are good.

Fiesta is interesting (assuming we lose). But I am seeing a lot of press that Indiana might get that slot if we lose to OU. Since they will not allow fans, the ISU fan base factor is not in play,

If the Hoks happen to beat Indiana, they may be the Fiesta choice.

And it meets the Hoks requirement of being in a January bowl game... ;)

A two loss Clemson won't be in over a two loss ISU. Nobody would want to see a potential 3rd matchup between them and Notre Dame. Plus, if we win that gives us a 6 game winning streak. The committee will take that into account.

Why do so many people wanna watch us get curb stomped by Alabama in the CFP? I’d rather us playing in a NY6 and put on a good showing

I would love to give Matt Campbell and this team a shot at Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, or Notre Dame.

Florida and Georgia swap spots. Oklahoma moves up to 10 replacing miami. Isu and Cincinnati stay put

So you are saying a late season Florida loss to unranked LSU is viewed as better than Iowa State first game loss to a top 20 ranked ULL . . . sounds about right for the CFP committee.

UGA's schedule is still mostly a pile of junk (just like A&M's and Florida's).

Losses: Alabama (10-0), Florida (8-2)

Wins: Auburn (6-4), Missouri (5-4), Kentucky (4-6), Tennessee (3-6), Arkansas (3-7), Miss. State (2-7), South Carolina (2-8)

Next week: Vanderbilt (0-9)

Not just losses, but blowout losses.

Don't they play Indiana next weekend? The B1G set that up.
Indiana is going to play Purdue, and Iowa is going to play Michigan. So, that will pretty much lock up a NY6 bid for Indiana, and Iowa will most likely be locked out.
