While their fan base wanted out of the Big 12 probably worse than administration...it was the administration that inevitably packed the bags, and bought the ticket.

Whats the point of talking a lot of **** at the game? Seems petty to me and makes ISU look like ****** central.

A switchblade taped to the bottom of your shoe for when you're walking through the parking lot and see aTm vehicles. Make sure and get two tires too. Most people have an extra tire (but not two). That way, it benefits local businesses. If tire sales don't spike in Ames when aTm is in town, I will be disappointed.

behavior better served for the westboro baptists protesting military funerals.

If people are exceptionally rowdy or rude to their fans or players then I don't want to hear people complaining about othe fan bases not being "classy." That word is thrown around way too much. Act like adults, have fun and root for the Cyclones. No need to act any other way.

One thing I will not miss is the yell leaders they have. The most absurd, bizarre, antics of any group I've seen. Some of their movements seem borderline obscene...

Best response of the bunch. Show 'em what they will be missing...the best tailgating and gameday atmosphere around!

I've got my tix to this one...I expect to hear "Hit the road, Jack" on the new sound system if we get the W.

This. We used to do "Happy Trails To You" for players that fouled out in bball back in the Johnny days...but your selection works for me.

I normally would say act classy but that billboard that some of their boosters put in Waco makes me want to say otherwise.

I'm thinking about bringing vaseline jars and giving them to their fans, they're gonna need it for SEC play.

A&M has been classless in all of this. They deserve whatever they get from any opposing fan base (within reason).

If they hadn't left, there would be a lot more stability in this league. They left for selfish, illogical reasons and are getting no gain, in an a movement that threatened the continued existence of several of their former conference mates.

**** A&M.

Hopefully we can let the play on the field do the talking. Being excessively rude or damaging property doesn't do anything but make us look classless. They'll probably get that in the $EC anyway.

It could be huge for Ames area Tire sales. In fact, I've been doing a little research. I discovered that Akron is the Tire Capital of the World because of the Football team. Akron's fans are so good at slashing tires of their opponents when in town, that some of the tire companies even relocated there because of all the tire sales. Toledo, Bowling Green, Ohio U, Ball State, Eastern/Western/Central Michigan, even THE Ohio State University have played a ton of games in Akron the last 100 years, and they discovered early on that they could sell a lot of tires if they slashed the opponents fans tires forcing them to buy more for their drive home. It is a whole racket too, from the slashing students, to the police, to the University, to the Tire Companies and their donations back to the University.
It's brilliant I tell you.

I agree, act classy, respectful and let our football team beat the tar out of them.

Agreed.

Lets be honest, we'd be right out the door too if we had a better offer, say to the big 10 or something.

I think the classiest way to slash a tire is to leave a note (typed of course) on their windshield informing them that you are sorry you had to slash their tires because they were aTm fans along with a coupon for 10% off new tires at Sears Auto Center. I think that is the kind of class that the rest of the Big 12 have come to expect from ISU. If you do decide to slash multiple tires, you might want to add the names and numbers of a few towing companies on the note. I'm not really sure if there are coupons for towing however, but you might find some to print off online after printing off the Sears Auto Center ones.

I agree with this too, but I don't see how aTm going to SEC is necessarily a better offer. They broke a century old rivalry, burned bridges on the way out after causing mass chaos instability, and will likely have a much harder time winning in the SEC.

They didn't jump ship because the ship was sinking, they jumped because their big brother was the captain of the ship calling all the shots. And damn near sunk the ship because of it.

By some reports, Oklahoma was still pursuing the PAC option for the whole last year before getting shot down, and would be out if the PAC had accepted them. Texas is only still here because they were able to leverage their pac option (which nearly blew up the conference last year) to blackmail the rest of the conference into accepting its longhorn network, which is getting texas more additional money than other teams are making total, and it is now using conference material to support that network. Missouri has made no secret that it wants a better option. Nebraska and Colorado are already out.

Its ridiculous to blame everything on TAMU, as it is to say theyre only reason because they're jealous of UT. This has been a dysfunctional conference for some time, and it is why everyone is seeking a way out.
