Saying goodbye to TAMU at JTS. Any good ideas?

I suggest you go back and look at your own signature from Clyde Williams first. If he can do it for the Hawks, then that says a lot.

A&M lied to the rest of the Big 12 about their commitment, and it's nearly destroyed the league. It may do so yet.

And it's not like the SEC was looking for this. A&M got on their knees and begged, and the SEC decided it would be a good business move.

Lastly, leaving for the Big 10 is totally different than leaving for the SEC. The financial gain is gigantic, and it's actually an easier league. A&M will make about the same money in the SEC, while their program gets destroyed. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face and endangering entire Universities in the process. All to show Texas they don't need them. It's deplorable, awful behavior. They are actually going to hurt their program and are risking the destruction of several others. There's no way to defend their actions, IMHO.

Still not a good reason to treat the people who travel to support their football team like **** though. Keep in mind they are just people who happen to like something different than us.

Not a big deal, be respectful, be loud and get butts in seats for kick-off to support ISU.

I put this up as a bit of a joke. I would hope we would act civil and not actually do anything we would not take as good natured ribbing if our roles were reversed.

Powdered sugar mixed with milk would be just about right.

Sounds like you've done some testing in the field to perfect this simulacrum, like those Pepsi commercials where they blindfold some dude and give him a sample of both Coke and Pepsi and ask him if he can pick out which one is actually Pepsi.

"Hey there, Aggie fan, can you tell which jar contains the real deal? No tasting allowed."

Makes our fans look like low-lifes.

ISU would make the same jump in a second if B10 opened up, so lets not be hypocrites.

How about being a grown-up, treat their fans as we should any visiting team, with a basic level of respect and then let everyone go home.

The fan you give grief to may not even have wanted them to go to the SEC and all it does is make ISU look small.

Lets grow up.

The two scenarios are not comparable.

ISU has obviously been in favor of revenue sharing. The Big Ten has had revenue sharing for a long time.

A&M was against it, until Texas SMOKED them at the not-sharing-game. Then they bolted to a league with sharing.

ISU could move to the Big Ten and still be completely consistent with all the values we have favored as a school and athletic department. A&M and Nebraska pulled a 180.

Big 12...they cried MINE like fricking babies.

Big Ten and SEC...suddenly sharing is great.

You have some very good points here -- they are not comparable and A&M are rat **** bastards but it's not their fans fault.
