Don’t turn into 90s husker fans. Go spend time with your family. You can see purdy go 12-20 on the dvr that
Night.

This site stood up for Steve Prohm up until the point he went 0-19 in Big 12 play. I'm shocked the greatest quarterback in Iowa State history can't even get a tenth of the backing. So ready for Brock to shut you losers up.

I feel sorry for people that had all their wedding plans turned upside down.

I understand it being annoying but if it’s the Kansas game, just watch it later.

I will at minimum have my headphones charged and in my pocket. Walters and Heft will be in one ear.

Everyone always complains about the weddings on fall Saturdays but if you have kids of school age, the odds of getting through a season without missing a game due to some kind of activity are close to zero.

I told my wife we weren't getting married in the Fall, so we did it in the Summer instead. She still gives me ****, but deep down she knew I was in the right.

I don't think watching the wedding later is the same as being there.

True, a lot better. Not sure if I dislike all the photo taking or the lame dances more, but it is a better time to reconnect with relatives than a funeral.

Went to a wedding in 2018 at the end of September when the Brewers were 1 game behind the Cubs for first place with 2 games left. Most of us were in the bar watching the game, instead of the reception hall, even the bride and groom popped in every so often.

My opinion, whether or not you're a sports fan, I think you have to take into account the sports atmosphere where you live/where your guests are from. I don't mind missing a game in the middle of the season, but I think if you're going to schedule something during an opener or potential postseason/playoffs of a sport, try to have it where there's a TV.

Can't imagine there's too many weddings around Ames/Iowa City opening weekend for football.

Not exactly sure.
No, it's just hard to read some of the complaining that constantly goes on on here about normal everyday life things. If it effects your life that much, don't fuc$ing go. It's not that hard to say "no". Grow a pair or don't *****.
