My girlfriend at the time broke up with me because I elected to attend the 2005 ISU/Iowa game instead of her brother's wedding.

I made the right choice.

You definitely did. Really wish I had gotten tickets to that game, it was before I started buying season tickets, though.

I believe I still have that entire 2005 season on VHS. Yes, VHS. Both the network broadcasts and the Cyclone Express replays from Mediacom. The season that should have been.

I have the 2005 Iowa-ISU game on my computer. If anyone could help me set up a torrent, I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it.

Seeing hawk fans walk out early is one of the best things I've seen

Would absolutely LOVE a copy of that. I camped out at the stadium overnight and had front row seats. Was told I was seen on TV a number of times but being at the game I never got to see the broadcast. Still one of my absolute favorite days as a Cyclone!

Were you on the North end of the stadium camping out? Me and a few of my friends did the same. Sat front row, got on national television, and made it in the Des Moines Register.

We camped east side because my parents had an S5 parking pass which made it easy for us one at a time to head to their tailgate to get painted up/grab food/drinks before the game. You missed out being north side, we did order 3am Pokey Stix to the stadium
