I really like him. He's a true baller and a lot of fun to watch but not only that, he's a respectable player. Countless time's I've seen him helping other team's players up. Classy guy! I wish him well in the NBA next year!

Smart SHOULD be a top 5 pick in this years draft class, and when you have a chance to be a top 5 pick, you leave. Kid can play.

Doing a little research here:

Okie State has 2 seniors on the roster, Jurick and Cox, and Cox is a walk on. So there is a total of 1 scholarship there.

Okie State has 5, yes 5, which I'm assuming will be scholarship players coming in next year... So they must be assuming Smart and Nash leave, and then a couple of people transfer.

Noteables that come back next year: Cobbins, Brown, and Forte, and blending them with their incoming players they will still be a very talented team as long as those 3 don't transfer.

If he can get build on that mid-range jumper and shoot better from outside too, he'd be the complete package. I wonder if he'll stay one more year or if he'll take off.

Just gonna say that I'll be happy to see him gone. Unfortunately it seems they are reloading pretty well

Debatable, if both Smart and Nash leave they lose players that are a bit more highly thought then what ISU loses(albeit one less). ISU's top incoming freshmen are ranked a touch higher by Rivals as well. One would assume that ISU's strategy of CC players as filler vs. freshmen would have a stronger immediate impact as well.

I agree it's debatable, but dang...Forte will be a winning player for all his years at Okie Lite, I would take Cobbins in a heartbeat, and Markel Brown can be a star if he improves like he did this past offseason. They bring in guard talent similar to Thomas and Morris. They may be a little weak in the frontcourt, but that should rarely scare any team that plays ISU. I agree that the JUCO talent ISU brings in could allow some immediate help, but dang, I love the potential of Markel Brown and Cobbins. Cobbins is going to be a really good player.

Not that I don't disagree but those were very headsy plays on his part tonight. Dudes a gamer.

Heady plays because they work, but if every player played like that the sport would be 100% unwatchable. There were at least five or six other times in the game where players collided after a made basket, if everyone is as "heady" as Smart the sport becomes a total joke.

I think he'll succeed in the NBA but I'll laugh when he tries that without a call and someone steps on him.

Smart can definitely ball. It's ridiculous. He only put up 24 pts tonight and I'd say his performance tonight still put EJ's 39-pt effort against us to shame. Every point, every steal, every assist of Smart's was so smooth and much deserved. It's crazy to watch a game with such emotion and aggression between the teams during the game with so much respect for each other demonstrated post game. Show's the difference between teams like OSU, and entitled b****es like KU.

As much as I'd welcome Smart and Nash back to Hilton anytime, they are both gone. Smart will be top 5. Nash will probably slide, but still get drafted.

The open-arms invitation for the Okie State team to return to Hilton stands, however, Travis Ford's invite might get lost in the mail.
