I dug the Super Mario Brothers Super Show with the late Captain Lou Albano as Mario.

Was it on Fridays that they would do Zelda? I remember that!!

I was always a big fan of Ducktales as well. EVERY day after school! I got off the bus just in time...

YouTube - Ducktales Intro

Ducktales... Woo-oo! I always wanted a vault of gold to swim in, but I'm pretty sure it didn't work that way. Also can't help but get the Tail Spin theme in your head.

When I was a kid I used to watch GI Joe and Transformers all of the time after school.

But recently I watched a few of those same cartoons some 20+ years later and wondered what the heck was wrong with me as a child. Those cartoons look awful. WTF?

How about Animaniacs? My friend and I used to walk home 2 miles every day after school hoping we'd get there before this show started. It was always a sad day when we missed Animaniacs.

Along with Pinky and the Brain. Probably the best inset cartoon since Dudley Do-Right.

I still like the clip where Yakko sings every country in the world to that catchy little song. Darn, now I'm going to have that stuck in my head.

I have a terrible feeling that if I met Snorks in real life, I would mistake them for bendy straws and suck their brains out.

And that thought is enough for me to try harder in the future to avoid overthinking dinner party faux pas involving 80s cartoon characters.

I didnt relaize you said "suck" the first time I read this

The sexual tension in Snorks always made me a little uncomfortable, much like the sexual ambiguity in Carebears.

Something always did seem naughty about those snorkels on their heads. :skeptical:
