Edozie playing should hopefully improve our rebounding. UNC dominated the offensive glass tonight, so hopefully he can help with that.

We're gonna be fine boys. Keep your hopes up high and your head down low. Georges may be out but that doesn't mean the cyclones are out.

It isn't going to hurt us much on defense...Niang was an average defender. Won't hurt us much in rebounding...Georges wasn't exactly exploding off the floor to grab rebounds. Will really hurt us on offense. He made our offense so unique...we could invert the offense and bring bigs away from the basket. Just a huge kick in the nuts.

Going to be tough, but not impossible. They are a team capable of beating anybody (mich st., duke, louisville, kentucky) or losing to anybody (belmont, uab, wake, miami). Box and 1 on paige maybe, have kane try to facilitate off the wing/block, and need to knock down some shots.

Maybe the best hidden secret in basketball is Tyler Ellerman is the second coming of Dirk Nowitski?

Three guards two forwards like last year. Edozie will see minutes like Booker last year. Honestly not scared. Kane is like a forward anyways.

Why is anybody inverting our defense? Georges was the worst defender of anybody who played reasonable minutes.

The only good thing is Hogue has been extremely dominate lately. The way he has been playing we were working towards having the big 4 now were back down to the big 3.

I say have Edozie go in and just start bulldozing people left and right. Maybe he could even the odds a little bit :jimlad:

My best guess. We're gonna go even smaller, and the talking heads might be kinda right with the whole "live by the 3 die by the 3" assessment now...

My only concern is we don't have that nifty post presence anymore. Hogue/Ejim have both been awesome as far as cutting, and scoring off of putbacks, but Niang was that guy we just put down the on the block and have him dominate with his footwork. He's going to be missed for sure.

I'd start Morris, Kane, Hogue, Ejim, Edozie. UNC is a good rebounding team so I think Edozie would have gotten a lot of minutes anyways. Box and 1 on Paige is what I would do if I was the coach on defense as their perimeter shooting besides Paige sucks so make them beat us shooting 3's. If they shoot a high percentage, they deserve to win anyways.
