Fun to see him get a double double on his start. He was very active. Makes me wonder if he just needed to get the conditioning necessary to do what Prohm expected? He looked amazing.

Is a man! Do what the coach asks you to do, and good things happen....who knew? Nice work Solomon. This was a great team win!

Way to keep your nose to the grindstone Solomon. Keeping yourself prepared allowed you to have success when your number was called. Congrats on a great game.

I'd go with the basic fact that he's likely progressed in practice to get to the point where he is now. I don't know if you paid any attention to games earlier in the season, but he was pretty lost on D to start.
Maybe if he played more earlier in the season (minus the broken hand time) he could have gotten to this point before now.

My main point is, it was obvious he was our best post player in December, even with his time out due to injury.

Agree. Prohm has mentioned his progress in the past and that he was learning each day. The hand injury set him back a bit as well. He is the missing piece this team has needed. They're starting to gel and moving toward putting an entire game together.

That could be some of it but he should have been playing more. His biggest issue was getting up to speed. He really just need thrown in the fire. I said it the very first game he is going to be special.
Coaches have regrets. Prohm stated publicly that he should have played him more. It's water under the bridge now. All that matters now is to move forward his badassedness.

Played very well. Hopefully a sign of things to come. Can't expect a double double every night out, but this team severely needed 'that guy'

No he wasn't. As soon as he walked on to the court the other team immediately attacked him with pick and roll situations to great effect. He's made huge strides to get where he was at tonight, give him credit for the work he's put in and try to not take pot shots at Prohm when you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

So bush league.

I think we lose without him. He stopped so many potential runs with a block or deflection or rebound.

And put backs.

Loved the put backs.

Shout out to Holden too...got some quick fouls but had some nice energy on D when he came in.

Hopefully this is the plan going forward...would love if there were some calls for him to get it out anywhere from 5-10 feet from the bucket. Dude has a nice looking shot.

It's neat to see his progression this year. Easily the most improved player. If that continues, next year doesn't look so bad, provided some of our newcomers step up, too.
Agreed, if Lard pans out suddenly our frontcourt doesn't look so shaky moving forward.
