Sounds good to me. It will be interesting to see what his salary will be. If it's 2.5+ I wonder if tonight's Missouri interview gave him a bump.

I don't really understand how anyone could be unhappy with this hire. We apparently wrapped him up early while others are still in a waiting mode (Mizzou). He's a very solid hire. Other than Niumatalolo, no one else on our list has 4-years experience as HC at the FBS level - and he's only 35!

Tomorrow is his birthday, too. Quite the birthday present pay day he's getting.

Yeah we will see if it turns out to be the right hire or not but at least the administration moved quickly and got the guy it appears they wanted.

And it totally validates the Rhoads announcement coming a week before the last game so they could get this moving early. Campbell was clearly in demand - Mizzou was at least taking a look, UCF had interest, Toledo wanted to tie him down, and as bigger names like Fuente go off the board, other programs like South Carolina or Maryland might have moved on to him before we had a chance.

Good job Leath and JP, now let's hope this works.

Wooohoooo, kudos to JP for getting the jump, poor old ISU wasn't supposed to attract much for candidates but hires arguably the #3 hottest young coach out there behind Herman and Fuentes
