If Steele continues to have fumbleitis, it won't matter who the new OC is.

Like I said in the OP, both had the same amount of turnovers.....Steele had a few more INTs....some which werent his fault...some that were.

I am just excited to see all three of the QBs grow over the off season and see who is our guy.

Also, I think it depends on what type of spread the new OC runs. If its a "run first" type, that is JBs game....if its a "throw the ball down field" type, that may be SJ or SR game.

Who knows...

I think once we know who the new OC is, we can start guessing and making MORE predictions!

Based on what? You keep spouting your opinion and acting like its a fact.

YOU think Jantz has a better chance to improve.

YOU think Jantz is clearly better than Barnett.

These things are purely your opinions. You don't offer anyrhing concrete to back them up, but want the rest of the board to accept them as facts. That's perposterous.

Give Steele more repetition and practice and he gets the mental part down like Barnett.

Give Barnett steroids and he might close the gap a little on talent with Steele.

Its preposterous that people think Barnett has a better chance of getting more talented than Steele has of cutting back on mistakes. ALL players new to a position make mistakes. None are ever perfect their second year at a position, that doesn't mean they aren't going to keep improving. Barnett has five years at QB, Steele has two. Barnett has been here a year longer than Jantz, of course he knew more than someone who just stepped on campus.

I feel confident that we can win with both QB's(all three actually). Its really nothing against Barnett, but honestly I think if our OC wants a passing offense Jantz is the guy, if we want a game manager at QB Sam Richardson is more accurate and JB is just the guy who's a less talented mix but is smart like a seasoned senior.

What is preposterous as that you don't know steele has been qb since '08 and played it before that. The list of excuses get longer and longer despite being bs.

At some point you just are who you are. And jantz is a clip-board holder.

For all the arm strength Jantz is supposed to have, this play (3rd and 19) which came out of desperation after the 3 picks in 4 passes was a horrible pass that Money made a play on...looks like he could keep Money running (this was not a back shoulder throw)...

:wideeyed::wideeyed::wideeyed:

he's all in on his support for Jantz!!!!

I'm for whoever is going to make good decisions and give us the best chance to sustain success. SJ played poorly early in the games he won and had some late heroics to get bailed out...that doesn't translate into a good QB.

It's really pathetic fans are tearing these guys down like this. Both were major players in some big wins. Neither was perfect. 2012 will sort itself out later.

Quit the ******* bickering and enjoy this season.

Again, Jantz was most definitely hurt during this game and after.

His plant was fine on the throw, there was no pressure on him...it was a bad pass. On the first play of the game, when he hadn't taken a single hit yet. He proceeded to go three and out on the next two drives....he lost his job with this start.
