My wife and I ran into Phillip in Vegas. We told him we enjoyed him on Survivor and asked for a picture. He declined saying he was heading to charity event where people would be paying for pictures. No hard feelings, and he was nice about it.
People actually pay him for a picture with him? He's one of the last players I would even think about paying to get a picture with even I even wanted one with him in the first place.

Yeah, we weren't mad, but "whatever". It was fairly soon after he was on the show so good for him for striking while the iron was hot

Really late on this episode review for me. I don't know that that moment with Joe and Eva can be topped for me. Joe is such a good dude. In that moment, he basically just said he doesn't care about gameplay. All that mattered to him in that moment was protecting this vulnerable person who put their trust in him. Damnit I'm tearing up again now just thinking about it. Huge props to Eva to be able to overcome those emotions and complete the challenge, too. And then tell her story afterwards. I was watching with such a huge fear that she was about to get voted out.

Summed it up well. I was worried about her spot in the game as Starr was pretty vocal prior about wanting to vote her out and then when her and Joe got split up she lost her safety net. I also wonder what would of happened had she lost the challenge as you could tell people started to catch on that something wasn't quite right after she finished the challenge. They still probably have that moment in some form I would guess. Curious to see how it plays out going forward as both are going to be good players in the individual game part I think.

They are both strong competitors at physical challenges, so it's likely they will get voted out at some point, but Joe wins favorite competitor for me regardless.

Joe and Eva have a great story and it was an awesome Tv moment. That being said if I am on the island in no way am I letting either of them sit next to me and tell the jury their story. They put huge targets on them even if it was a great human moment.

Yeah, as a fan I want to see the 2 of them make it to the end as its great to watch but smart players know they will have an uphill battle to win the season if they have to go up against them in the end. As long as Sai and Cedrek don't make it to the final 3 there really isn't anyone left right now that I just can't stand. Starr was someone I didn't like much either but I think she maybe turned a page and realized she couldn't keep playing the way she was where I don't see that from Sai and Cedrek. Sai has played too hard from the start and Cedrek just makes stupid votes at tribal. Had he voted Sai out by now maybe he could save face a little with the rest of them but he keeps saving her and enabling her chaos and negativity.

I am annoyed Sai made it another week.. again

Didn’t really get the charity hate. She seemed to be disliked. I didn’t really like her but I didn’t dislike her either.

That one was out of the blue. Guessing they are not showing some
Of her stuff.

Sai is one of the most annoying I have seen since Colton. Right down to her annoying shorts. They get rid of her and the dude that lost the challenge, his name escapes me, and I’m good with the rest of the cast

Sai is young and thinks she's way, way smarter than she is. Also a lot of entitlement there. Can't wait for her to be gone but honestly if I were in the game I'd probably keep her around as well because she has zero shot of winning over a final jury.
Not a bad strategy. I also said last night was the night to get rid of her because she is someone I don't want on the jury.

I was fine with either Charity or Sai going, both annoy the crap out of me. Cedrek is so lost on how he is trying to play the game too. Thought maybe he would have been on the chopping block too because he was so bad in a pretty important challenge. Starr has gone from someone I didn't like much initially to someone that I think is playing pretty smart right now. Early on she kind of had a negative attitude and a "me against everyone" mentality but I think after the previous week she realized she needed to start playing a better social game and that moment with Cedrek was a good way to start building some allies.

I want to know why Sai was the only one that voted for Cedrek. Did they do a good job of keeping her out of the loop on the vote so she didn't mess something up and they all told her someone else? If that was the case then she has reason to worry she is next and I hope she is because the longer she stays the more chaos she could bring and mess up someone's game that actually has a shot of winning because she has no chance in hell of winning right now IMO. I really do hope the 5 person alliance that wants to take 5 strong physical players playing an honest game to the end happens as too many times some of the best players in a season get voted out and we are left with 1 or 2 crappy players that were drug to the final 3 just for that purpose and then 1 or 2 that have a big flaw or 2 on how they got there. I get that the game is about making it to the end at all costs but sometimes deserving players get caught in the crossfire and voted out too soon which allow a crappy player to just ride someone's coattail to the end.

I think Sai voted for Dedrek because he wrote her name down at previous tribal councils. Strickly a retaliatory move. JMHO.

Just got caught up on this week’s episode. Sai making the lone vote for Cedrek made me legit LOL. She think she’s great but has no idea what’s going on.

Love the “loyalty” alliance forming and hope it gains traction. Winning that way would be more impressive than backstabs and blindsides, even though it wouldn’t be as entertaining.

Went back as I have paramount plus to watch an old season. Since I watch so many shows on his network I picked Rob Cestrino's season which was Amazon Guys vs Girls.

Only 3 episodes in but what a stark difference from today from challenges to how things have changed from then. The misogyny from guys included Rob are kind of sad to see but I get that's how things were then.

From my memory Rob C. is pretty unbearable that season. Kind of like a dorkey horney virgin who just wishes he could be like the cool jocks who get the cheerleaders.
