THT left Mac Irvine because of AYO. Its the Mac Irvine coach (AYO camp) that says "ain't no friction" THT only played for Mac Irvine because his Team Rose (Simeon history here with D Rose) club didn't make the EYBL. There is a lot of friction between Mac Irvine and Team Rose clubs. The main recruiter, assistant at Illinois, for Ayo was the head coach of Mac Irvine up to a few years ago, and is close friends with the Irvine family (given Underwood's previous assistant at OSU having money to recruit history), this sure doesn't look good.

I’ve been an ISU fan probably longer than you’ve been alive..just thought he was a senior.
THT seems straightforward, so I’m hoping our staff finds out before an actual leak.

Trying to land THT. He might, he might not, but we have a great shot.
Trying to land Harris even with THT somehow (with a stealth commit) or somehow keeping the guy as a backup in case THT does not work out.
Probably trying to hatch a way to have both come the spring.
If not, probably already watching the mid-year and JUCO markets like a hawk.

He's really a tireless recruiter, and that is just what we needed to make this transition. Hopefully down the road he can leave most of that to his assistants and just be the closer.
Iowa State has put themselves in a great position. Whatever happens, just remember. Prohm can't recruit guys...
The migration of THT to ILL Crystal Balls is quite . . . alarming. I'm not one to jump ship when I see a CB turn, but this is like 8 or 9 in 24 hours.
The exact same thing happened with Wigginton to Oregon. Crystal Ball predictions have value, but typically when you see a mass migration in such a short period of time, it's a follow-the-leader mentality. Not saying THT isn't going to Illinois, but I'd have more faith in his Crystal Ball if they were steadily coming in for the last month.
A majority of these guys had THT going to Michigan State or Michigan forever, and neither even made his Top 7. His recruitment has been pretty tight-lipped.

The worst one I've seen is Wake Forest's OGBoards. They're funny, but the intelligence is low. Didn't help some of Illinois' posters were dbags on their board. Illinois' free board is not the best despite being heavily moderated and high traffic.
It may be only to me and the other Illinois fan. To be fair, we buttered you up with our eye-to-eye hatred of Iowa.
As for the THT recruitment, I'm aware that THT's camp and Ayo's camp have contacted each other to smooth things out recently.
Seems like you guys have the momentum currently that's why I am drafting an open letter.
If THT is to the point where they are communicating to try and get things smoothed over, that's where he wants to go and that's where he's likely to go. I don't feel great about this. I do think we some sort of movement on Harris immediately if that happens and hey, if you would have told everyone they could have Griffin, Haliburton, Conditt and Harris this summer, they would have taken that in a heartbeat without any sort of hesitation or question.
