They're 8-0 with a 45 to 55-ish SOS coming off an incredibly dominant 12-1 year with the lone loss to a top ten team...oh and they have a Heisman front runner...yet only ranked 8th. Should they be ranked 24th or something?

If TCU is overrated at 8th I think pretty much the entire top 25 is. Injuries caught up with them today but this 20-1 run they've been on has been very impressive.

I had heard some talk of OK State having a sneaky good defense and it looks like it at times today.

I think they are ranked appropriately by the Committee, but any talk of them running the table and/or winning the National Championship fall into where I think they are overrated. Lets not forget they are ranked 3rd in the coaches poll and 5th in the AP (which is all we had to go off of until this week). They were a much better team last year, IMO.

If your think TCU is overrated your crazy. Okie st is probably the most underrated team in the country.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see TCU at 9-3 at the end of the regular season

I guess I could see them overrated at 3, definitely not overrated 8th coming into this game.

Many voters have been high on Ohio State based on a "last year + haven't lost". If you do that it's irrational to not have TCU glued right next to them as they were far and away the 1-2 teams at the end of last year. Then Ohio State's weak schedule to boot.

Just glad a lot of these teams start playing each other and hopefully every big win like TCU/OK St or Bama/LSU is rewarded by the committee.

At least one of TCU, Baylor, OK St and OU is going to take some dings and finish with a record like that. I was leaning toward Baylor and OK St being likely but maybe TCU now.

Disagree on TCU, but agree on OSU. Im not saying TCU is bad, but I have not thought they were a playoff team at all this year.

None of these teams have played anybody good yet until today, hard to know who is good or not at this point. College football really needs better non-conf scheduling.

I'm kind of coming to grips with the fact that maybe the B12 doesn't have a top 4 team this year, but still pretty ticked about last year where TCU passed the eye test as a top 4 team before CCGs, the week of CCGs, and was clearly at least #2 after bowls yet wasn't involved.

Basically even if the B12 doesn't obviously deserve a team I'll still be ticked if not represented among the first 8 teams involved when the conference consistently ranks in the top 3 conferences every season.

I don't think Ohio State plays in the Big 10 Championship game, let alone the Playoff.

I think TCU is more dependent on Boykin this year than last. But that's to be expected. They've lost what, six players from their starting defense since the start of the season?

Dependent as in exactly right now he has to be superman to keep their playoff chances alive. Even more without the guy I would take over any WR in the nation.

I think the best chance the Big 12 has is for Baylor to run the table. OSU does not play on Dec 5, and that could hurt them.

I think OU ends up winning the B12 and the Texas loss keeps them out of the playoff.

If Clemson loses, it's hard to see any possible way an 11-1 Big 12 team gets left out of the playoff

I'm not saying they are worthy of a playoff spot but to say they are overrated at #8 is just asinine.

How is it asinine to think there are 8 better teams than this? Are you watching this game? There are probably 3 better teams in the same conference alone.
