He needs to scramble. Just the threat changes the D.

I was thinking the same thing. A dual threat would make a difference for a struggling offense. Our best two quarterbacks aren’t that though. However, our current back up is. I’m not advocating that we go to that, but a drive here or there might mix things up just a bit.

The schedule doesn't only get tougher. We have Oklahoma and TCU past us. True, there are other good teams in the Big 12, but not all tougher than the 2 we have faced.
I meant immediately. At OSU and then WVU and TTU is brutal. And after that the team could be pretty beaten up. Not ideal

Has anyone seen an update on DM? Really took the wind out of our sails when he went down. ISU was actually running the ball for the first time all game. I like their chances with DM on that last drive. Not so much with Croney

I know the type of team that CMC eventually wants to have, and his offensive playcalling reflects that. slowly grinding away at defenses and eventually out-muscle the other team.

But sadly, our offensive line is still a year or two away from being able to do that yet for some reason he hasn't realized this in regards to playcalling

I understand what you are saying however, in order to instill that system for the future he is running it now so the young guys (OL) grow up in it and learn it.

I am advocating that. It can't be worse than tonight and it adds a weapon.

LOL at you and everyone who agrees with this.
I thought we were in the trust tree, in the nest, are we not?

Listen I’m not dying on that hill. It’s doubtful the offense would have done anything anyway.
But the ball sure looked like it was moving before he was down and he never fully regained control.

Should have punted on the opening drive.

Receivers can’t get open.

Again barely any throws over 20 yds

Zeb is Jared Barnett level talent. Good kid, okay qb but not a big 12 QB
He needs to play better than tonight. The moment looked a little too big for him, but TCU is good.

Park losing it easily cost us several wins imo.

I'm still not completely sold that who our QB is really matters at this point?

Do I feel like anything would be different right now if Kempt was our QB all year? Nope. He looked worse than Zeb does now in his limited play against Iowa.

I don't think much changes without better play calling and overall offensive scheme.

I blame our play calling and scheme more tonight than I do Zeb.

I felt like zeb had several opportunities to keep drives alive by tucking it and run. instead he tried to do too much with his arm

Don't spread fake news It's the same ******* offense except last year we had a QB that could hit water falling out of a boat.
You mean we had a jump ball WR, which still resulted in just 14.

Noland needs to play better, and he has, but I’m more concerned that we’re trying to put square pegs in round holes.
