Only reason I don't like 11 AM games is because I have to get up at 3 to be at tailgating by 5. I know, first world problems.

Both TTU and ISU are picking up a few votes in the polls. TTU is getting votes in both polls. ISU is in the coaches poll only. It would be great if TTU beats Kansas this Saturday and picks up enough votes to be ranked next week, but it looks like they will probably fall short.

At some point in time teams that win a lot of games, even if their schedule sucks, will get ranked. Don't have to look too far away to see this.

If TTU can pour on one of those 62-6 beat downs and a few teams in the bottom third of the top 25 lose they have a chance to make an appearance. That win won't do much but a beatdown will show they are taking care of business unlike the teams that lose.

At least high school football regular season will be over. Having a kid play on Friday night and getting all your tailgating stuff together at 10 at night or at 3:30 am the next morning stinks. Not a ton of people their at 5 in morning usually so it isn't so bad.

Playoffs will get in the way if you make it though. I do prefer the friday night each week over the old W/M/F format

Current temp in Lubbock is 37 with feels like of 31--it gets cold out there in the middle of BFE Texas. I think we all over estimate the impact "cold" weather has on teams from Texas or anywhere for that matter.

I just go off when I watch the teams huddle together on the sidelines and even on the heated seats all pushed together acting like they are shivering out there.

If it cannot be a 1-2:30pm kick than I want 11. The night games are great for atmosphere, but I really hate killing time all morning prior to leaving for tailgates. Also the 11am allows to be home at a decent time to regroup and watch football like previously said. Another good thing about early games is people do not leave all at once after, as some stay and tailgate. Makes the exit from Ames a bit less chaotic.
