I'm apparently in the minority of liking the early game. I love being done in time to go home and watch the rest of the games in the comfort of my home. But if I had kids that had sport activities it probably wouldn't be ideal.

I dont disagree, but this kind of had the feelings of being a big time game, and 11AM does put a damper on that. I get it though.

Darn it!!!! I was hoping for a night game cuz I'll be at state xc. Wish the Big 12 wouldn't always have us playing at home the last Saturday of October:mad:

I’d still say 11 am on ESPN2 is better than a 2 pm game on FS1. More exposure across the country.

Is there any cable\satellite package that doesn't have both at this point?

I was thinking during the game last Saturday with Campbell's record in October games he has going I wish ISU wouldn't get any October bye weeks. Put it in the last weekend of September or first weekend of November.

Yes. Whatever basic satellite package Dad has down in Phoenix. He’s long retired, and they won’t budget more than that.

On the bright side, he gets to see ESPNU and some other channel (probably FSN) now, for the first time. Does not get BTN or PAC12. Loves his sports!

I tend to agree with you. The night games can be pretty special, like this past Saturday showed. It was probably the best atmosphere of any game I've been too. TCU last year was very close.

But night games can be a pain because it makes for a very late night when you have a 2 hr drive home. I got home at 12:45 a.m. Saturday. Granted I rushed the field and stayed down there a while and enjoyed it, so I could have been home a bit sooner, but it's still late.

Shouldn't that be 12:45 a.m. Sunday

Both TTU and ISU are picking up a few votes in the polls. TTU is getting votes in both polls. ISU is in the coaches poll only. It would be great if TTU beats Kansas this Saturday and picks up enough votes to be ranked next week, but it looks like they will probably fall short.

You never know though... there's plenty of loss potential in the 15-25 range this week.
