The new set up for entering Hilton for students

This sounds a lot better. A girl my son was with at the Kansas game last year got her head slammed against the wall in the stampede.

I wish they would do something meaningful with their point system and instead of the junk they give them, the reward would be early entry to KU game. Would be nice if the students who faithfully go to all of the games were actually the ones that got the good seats.

They turned away people before they even got in line. There was a guy in the back of the line with a counter. He directed them to another door to get their refund.

That's what they tell you. Headboards can be a rough thing to repeatedly ram your head info.

Way more fair than the old system. Still some budging up front, but no where as bad as the people pushing their way to the front. People who get there early to stand in line now get rewarded.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the students who frequent this site are not the ones who would show up too late and miss their chance at seeing this game.

I think the biggest and the best change they made was allowing the students in 30 minutes early. That didn't cause the mad rush because people knew they would get the seat they waited for instead of racing the corner balcony students as well.

Pretty sure they are this year. The new 'reward system' is for Nike gear, and it's based on the first 10 games. Show up to nine of them, and you get it. They'll have something else for the second semester games after the break.

People were budging a fair amount. I think they need to have the barricades go farther to prevent this. We were waiting pretty close to where the snaking queue ended, and a lot of people showed up right when they let us in and followed the flow.
