What we really needed was another camera angle to show that it was helmet to helmet contact. The ones they used for the review were so horrible that you couldn't see the full impact of the hit. If we had the overhead sky camera I'm sure it would have been obvious targeting.

I think that his knee was down but I can see that it was hard to overturn. The targeting call is blatant... way way worse than our hit on Baylor and they didn't even look at it?

Which makes it EVEN more annoying that the person that called the god damned fumble was not really that close to the play.

I hope you're all watching UT-Bama. The refs don't even know what down it is, and are now going to review the plays.

Just watched the replay. The call on the field was down by contact. The announcement after review was that the call on the field stands (NOT confirmed), but then they said Texas ball. That's bad.
Okay. So basically on top of a bad no-call for targeting, they're not even aware of what the call on the field was that's being reviewed.

Hey, I guess it's no worse than the KU game when an illegal touch by a receiver who is covered on the LOS and isn't eligible, is ruled as ineligible downfield. The receiver was at the LOS, and never was downfield at all.

I mean, the officiating is just pathetic in college football right now.

That was weak as ****
If they don't want to have quarterbacks getting hit, I think they should implement it a new rule that the quarterback has to wear flags and all you have to do is pull the flag and they're down. The ultimate protection for quarterbacks :)

I'm just tired of the constant ribbing on the refs everytime we lose. According to some here, we'd be undefeated forever if wasn't for those darn refs. It's tiresome and it the complaining makes us look likw sore losers. The incessant complaining about the refs I feel is a smoke screen for real issues people have with the football team.. It really needs to stop. I'm going to get roasted for this thought, but yeah.....

I get being upset about calls. Sure.
Consistency is awful. Absolutely.

But there wasn't a "fix" for that game. No way.
