Your posts sure make me chuckle when I read them, especially when everyone else is being serious, rep for you.
Hypothetical question:
ND and Texas make a new conference that is made up of some of the teams from the Big East, and some from the Big 12, but it exists as a brand new conference...
Could the SEC and Big Ten theoretically block that new conference from a BCS bid until the evaluation period comes up for that new conference just because they'll super upset at ND and Texas?
This would mean the PAC can't expand, and if the Texas-ND new conference didn't go to 16, then they'd block superconferences for the Big 10 and SEC.

Ahh thank you, it's kind of funny seeing this thread play out. Especially because none of us knows what to expect. I love seeing everyone's theories, I only hope that Dan Bebe and all of the ADs are not as looney as us. Though that would be funny to see as well.
They probably are as looney as us. They could be sitting around a room throwing out random possibilties and wondering what they should do. I just hope they do something! One of these days I have to get something done!

Luck also said today that hes been in direct contact w/ AD's from the Big 12 n' theyve been bouncing ideas around. So many options.#WVU

It would be very nice if the B12, ACC and Big East drew a line in the sand and solidified their defense. These are the 3 conferences being cannibalized by the B10, Pac10 and SEC.
There is no reason that college athletics as a whole, as well as countless athletic departments and universities need to sit back and lose money, prestige and tradition because 3 conferences all want to be the toughest (richest) kid on the block.

Exactly Boomer what will happen if B12 is "proactive" and Big East and Independents are "receptive". Except you need to add TCU for BC I'm thinking.
