Multiple reports says A&M approved by SEC, will make official announcement at Noon.

Have fun getting pwned in the $EC.

Correction - have fun being Florida's, Georgia's, Alabama's, Auburn's, LSU's, Mississippi St's, and Arkansas' *****.

Basically, A$M is about to learn the definition of "village bicycle"...

I fully expect them to make a spectacle about it. Someone tweeted about things being set up in a paparking lot.
I smell giant bonfire coming. The Aggieville Walmart parking lot may not be big enough. Word is going out to bring your own masons.

Imagine,

This whole Fiasco about conference re-alignment without the internet. Thats right, you can't. Why? Because even 6 year olds know how to use the internet. And right now, grown men are acting like 6 year olds. Time to calm down everyone.

I just wanted to get one post on this thread before it shuts down when aTm actually leaves!

As someone who has been reading most of this thread, it is amazing the twists and turns and how it has stayed pretty much on topic throughout.

Remember six years ago you were a freshman? Now you're a sophomore.

I would be surprised to see it a 12-0 vote seeing as there were multiple teams indicating that they would likely vote 'no' if it came too it. I am more inclined to believe the 10-2 vote that I've seen, such as on the Baylor board... Regardless, aTm will be packing its' bags and I can't wait for the damn thing to be official so we can get on with this...

I'm sure it will be the most stupid and irrational celebration of WINNING NOTHING that we've seen since:

It probably was 9-3 or 10-2, but they ask around, and if they know they have the votes it looks better to be 12-0.

Re: Imagine,

You aren't very good at math, but you are good at being a ******. Congrats.

I do agree with you though. There is a lot of melting down going on by a few users, but it seems like thrive on something to have a meltdown about.

I'm not melting down. I just find it humorous that A$M fans think going to a conference in which their sports will be mediocre at best most years is "best" for their athletics and school.

For those who don't have the scoreboard size Wikipedia entry up on their 2nd monitor at all times, in case the Big 12 implodes and we end up in another conference, odds are good that we'll be moving up the list in our conference as to which school has the largest scoreboard.

If we end up in the Big East, we'll have the 2nd largest, right behind Pitt (Heinz Field).
If we end up in the Big 10, we'll have the 5th largest, behind Michigan, MN, NU, Indiana.
If we end up in the Pac-12, we'll have the 2nd largest, behind Arizona.
Needless to say, if we end up in a conference that isn't the ACC or SEC (besides the ones previously mentioned) we will dominate the video board wars and probably have to sell it to another school so as to pay our bills.
