The NCAA told the MWC and C-USA that it would award the merged league only one AQ berth to postseason events. So instead of two 8-10 team leagues and two AQs, there would be one 16+ team league with only one AQ.
I'll make it easy on everyone.

I'll never understand why people actually think Cinci and Louisville will ever be added. The only one with a chance is Louisville and that is if the B12 is stuck with adding an odd number of worthy programs and need a filler.
Louisville will be in the B12. Pretty sure of that but certainly nothing is written in stone until it is announced.
Cincy has a very, very, VERY small chance. 1% I would say.
Louisville's chances are getting smaller each day. If the Big 12 wanted them that bad, they would be in the Big 12 already.
Exactly. Louisville is there if we end up sloppy drunk at bar close with no other options.
Until that hotter chick leaves with someone else, no reason to settle for Louisville.
Essentially, Louisville isn't going to be the odd-numbered team, they're going to be the even-numbered team (assuming a second, fourth, or sixth team is actually needed).

More like Louisville is the chick at the bar who you consider taking home with the hot chick that you already have locked up, just so you have the chance at a 3-way, provided you and the hot chick can't find one or more other hot chicks to take her place.
Yeah, something like that....
I still believe Louisville is in regardless. We shall see.
All of the supposed insiders (for what it's worth) at one point agreed with you. Now they all seem to disagree with you. Don't ask me why, they all just in unison dropped Louisville from consideration.
Here is the e-rumor from today:
