Turned on Marty Tirrell on the way home. He had Blair Kirhoff on. Marty was trying to rationalize that ISU fans would applaud Pollard for being proactive by announcing that ISU was leaving the Big 12 and going to the MAC or CUSA.

Marty thinks ISU would be competitive one of those conferences and would probably make a bowl every year. Blair remembered the Mark Twain quote of never argue with an idiot since someone just tuning in may have a hard time determining who the idiot is, calmly pointed out that no one in their right mind would voluntarily make a decision that would cut their budget in half.

Stoops is talking openly about the PAC 16...I don't like where all of this is heading.

If they go to Pac 16, there will be two Big Conferences and it will not be the Big Ten. At the same time, the SEC may not like the new competition for the limelight.

I would say alot of BYU fans will be upset if they dont accept Big 12 invite... But according to a tweet from Joe shad it sounded like Big 12 didnt offer????

As much as I can decipher CougarBoard, yes; it appears the BYU AD released a non-statement statement today regarding the Big XII.
