The Pac 12 is being the most aggressive and is willing to make a move quickly by necessity. If they want to get to 16 they need the legit Western Midwest and Plains schools or they get landlocked out. They can't afford to let OK, Kansas, Mizzou go East. The Big 10 is very conservative and deliberate so if Mizzou has an offer from the Pac 10 and Oklahoma is going they will have to jump, they can't wait for a Big Ten invite.

The Big Ten and SEC have all the current ACC and Big East schools to choose from and any legit Big 12 schools that don't head West.

If I were Oklahoma fans, here is what would **** me off... You have arguably a better football program and tradition than Texas (certainly just as good) but you are still the longhorns' *****.

Texas gets more national exposure, makes more money, and has more power. OU may be in the drivers seat now but it still Texas's car.

I believe the MU, KU, OU & Okie State to the Pac 12 rumor has legs.

Rumblings out of Columbia about this all day.

You should eat something then. Perfect time for one of my favorite movie quotes..:

"Well, I've been listening to my gut since I was 14 years old, and frankly speaking, I've come to the conclusion that my guts have **** for brains"

This is what I was thinking. OU is trying to show Texas they have the power and Texas needs to start actually conceding some of it within the conference. (ie. Deloss Dodds' pie hole should not open to speak FOR the conference.) OU could easily take the conference nuclear if they wanted and end up okay in the Pac-XX while Texas would be stuck with the LHN and likely independent (not terrible but not as good as a conference membership).

Man this whole it is all about me attitude is just getting old. Looking at you Texas, Oklahoma, oh yeah and Tammy. IF everyone would just shut the hell up share the wealth then this conference would be a money maker, but no instead you have a few shitheads that **** it down the drain for everyone else.

My question is why didn't they do this last summer? At this point I wish they would have. ISU would be in the Big East, and this would all be done. Instead their only response was " We are sticking with Texas". I am not even making that quote up, that is what they said.

If the Big 12 is going to add, it needs a tough, binding contract for its members. Only then will others think about coming aboard.

Reading the entire transcript, it seems like he is trying to make those involved with OU (fans, media, whatever) feel better about their position. I do not think he is speaking against anyone or trying to be confrontational or divisive at all. It seems like he is trying to comfort his base and get them to relax a bit.

A little easier task for him than Pollard.
