Why? Because I'm enjoying the win without declaring there team to be the best in the land? I'm sorry that my smile isn't wide enough for you today.
Somebody needs their nappy changed.

Someone can't converse above a third grade level.Somebody needs their nappy changed.
Well they also won by 19, so I think there's reason for some optimism. And it was at home... against Kansas State. The circle jerk is a little too optimistic right now. Smiling is good. Calling it the end of our troubles is going too far in my opinion.

According to this fanbase, every win is a game/season/legacy maker and every loss means CSP has lost the team.
He's not invited to my next circle jerk, that's for sure.I bet you are fun to hang out with. Just enjoy it for a little while.
Agree with all of this. Last night was good because it showed us the team that we hoped we'd get in the second half; the team that has a chance to make a Final Four run. And last night wasn't perfect for everyone, anyway (see Nader and Burton, who were due to cool off for a night).
If MT is lights out, Nader is Good Nader, Jameel and Hallice are playing like that, and Burton lets the game come to him and throws it down a few times, then we will win (because Georges will be Georges and Monte will be Monte).
Just like KenPom now shows, and like we saw last night, Iowa State has the best offense in college basketball. And that means that if you are on, you can be in any game.
Didn't you guys play Kansas State at home yesterday?
I'm still hoping this account falls into a pit of starved alligators.Didn't you guys play Kansas State at home yesterday?
Last night was fun because:
1) It was the first time in awhile we didn't feel painfully thin. With McKay and Hallice playing well, we could afford to have Dule and Burton struggle.
2) The emotion seemed way, way better. The guys were much more fired up, and it started with Prohm. He was as animated as I've seen.
Also, Matt Thomas is getting close to "I'm surprised if he misses one" territory. However this year winds up, he's been great.
