Homan was the only good thing in that North Carolina Tourney game. All was lost and Homan refused to quit. When they were each here, there was a difference. Homan was far more forceful. Think rhino vs gazelle.![]()

We have had our private conversations with Donovan. Everything this year came down to the wire and there were a lot of moving parts. The situation didn't work out. Donovan is a tremendous player, and any year from here on out he is 100% someone we want on the roster. Heck, he might even show up in later rounds of this years tournament if we have injury or conflict! Can anyone offer some input as to why DJack did not seem to be taken seriously (at least publicly) as a candidate by the organizers of Hilton Magic Legends?

Come on - what they really need is a 63-year-old 5'1" granny with bad knees & arthritis. If nothing else, the opposing team would laugh themselves to death! Why didn’t you approach me? Seems like you could use a 35 year old 5’11 power forward that hasn’t played on an organized team since 8th grade.

I feel like that may of been the approach they took and I don't blame them.I honestly feel like hardened professionals are the way to win this tourney.

3 seed...not bad!https://www.thetournament.com/news/tbt-2018-teams-and-bracket
We are in, and we love the spot that we have. Midwest is the most difficult region, but we are confident we have a road to Baltimore. Link above shows the full bracket!

Any word on ticket discount yet?

Most of the professionals playing are guys from the Euro & G Leagues hoping to get more notice from the NBA scouts. Not much point in someone already playing in the NBA to participate. Plus, no one with an current NBA contract (including some G leaguers) can play.Which leads me to an obvious question that may have been answered. How is eligibility determined? Obviously seems like LeBron is not eligible but is their a $ earned limit or something?
Anyone in the college ranks or with an NBA contract are not allowed to play. Anyone else is allowed to play. Jimmer Fredette is playing on his team and we have the potential of meeting up with them in the Sweet 16. There is a lot of solid talent. It is winner takes all though. So players don't get paid unless their team wins the whole tournament.Which leads me to an obvious question that may have been answered. How is eligibility determined? Obviously seems like LeBron is not eligible but is their a $ earned limit or something?
I recognize none of their names. None of them seem to have even played at Illinois. Must be from Illinois?Any thoughts on the first round match up? I don't recognize any names on the Illinois team, though it looks like they have some G league and overseas pros on the roster.
