I have to admit that I snickered at the painful irony of Messingham's new title. All the best to everyone mentioned in this thread - things couldn't have worked out better for ALL.

You could say 'all' if Mess didn't take a demotion to another school. And with Tommy transferring, it didn't work out too well for him either. That does leave us, which I would agree are better off.

You are not too old. Football is the ultimate team sport and Mister is all about himself. Maybe he and Cousin can transfer to the same school and play for Bug Tussle U where no one but themselves will care or see them play. They deserve each other if Cousin, did in fact, leave because he isn't starting and bail on his teammates right before the season starts.
