I think of small ball as (1) player at 6-2 ish and the other 4 players 6-5 to 6-8 with no true center. I don't see how you play 3 guys 6-3 and under in the big 12.

Baylor just won a natty with a 6'2, 6'3 and 6'4 guard lineup. UCONN won 2 with Boatwright, Napier and Kemba all being under 6'2

I love how @rochclone the boomer super fan has turned into a bully. It was just last week he threatened me in a PM and wanted to meet up at Jack Trice Stadium to “get a few things figured out”.

Like I said last week I expect us to be a strong bubble team or part of the tourney field next season. We pulled in some solid transfers, who don’t have to sit out due to the change in rules, so we should be ready for a run right now. Just like Hoiberg would have had a good team if his transfers didn’t have to sit out year 1.

They also had that year they had to sit out to play together, live together, bond with one another before ever seeing the court. I definitely think we'll have growing pains early in the season. But might be pretty good by the end of the season.

Seems like the writing is kind of on the wall for the Prohm guys, I think TJ will give them a shot but it wouldn't shock me if by this time next year, all but a couple of those guys have moved on. The competition for PT next seasons is going to be fun to watch. It almost seems like the staff plans of having all 13 spots duke it out. I imagine Hunter starts but other than Kalsheur, I'm not sure anyone has a starting spot locked down at this point. There are a lot of minutes still up for grabs.

Johnson has Enaruna and possibly Fletcher.

Jackson i really don't know where he's going to fit. Getting a real offseason will help but he's going to need to make a huge leap to even see the floor.

Conditt now has Jones that works his butt off.

Foster and Hinson should be safe but with TJ you never know who he's going to bring in.

UCONN 2011 had walker starting; 2014 had Boatright and Napier starting.
