Oh and just because I am bored and having WAY too much fun now while our football team gets wrecked by TCU, here’s the UNC results this year. Yeah they are really playing their best with those scores against something called Gardner-Webb, Portland, Wilmington, etc.
And they are underdogs to Bama, so the pros tend to agree with me. It’s ok to be completely wrong.

Portland went 19-15 last year and was .500 in the WCC which is usually a 2 or 3 bid league. UNC should win that matchup going away but it's not surprising they at least gave them a game. Not every game is going to be a 30 point blowout.
It's not like they got tested by a SWAC or MEAC team .

Anyway, back to UConn. Their length and size will be a hell of a test, and I am glad our boys get to go against it because it’s a style that will really help to have seen already come Big 12 play.

I'm not arguing with you, I agree that UCONN looks really good, but i think we better wait another couple months before we determine they are better than UNC.
I've seen it numerous times were teams look really good early then end up struggling in conference play.
Whew ok I will try this one more time. I said RIGHT NOW. As in right this moment in the season. I think UConn is a better team than UNC.
Then I said in my post I don’t think that will be the case come March. UNC is more talented and will almost assuredly be the better team come March.
I am married into a family of UConn fans and I want nothing more than for us to roll them. I think we will win because our defense is just so hard to play against if you haven’t seen it.
Yeah, I watched some of their game with Alabama last night and they definitely look like one of the favorites to win the Big East. I still think Villanova will get it rolling in conference play and be a factor. Creighton will probably finish in the Top 2 also.
Back to the topic at hand.....I was very impressed with UCONN on both sides of the ball.
I'm wondering if we'll see any Lipsey, Holmes, King, Kunc, and any one of Osun, Jones, or Ward? King's supposedly got decent handles and Kunc already assists bringing the ball up so that shouldn't be an issue. See we're playing some zone. That length would be sick.
Didn’t even think about using Villanova as good point about teams right now. That win is going to look damn good come March. Are they playing their best right now? No but that’s because they are breaking in a lot of new faces. Carolina is loaded with talent from the runner up team and they just haven’t quite got it rolling like they were in late Feb and March. Not expecting them to be polished right out of the gate. But a team like UConn does have it going early on. They could end up fading like our favorite TOE, so we shall see.

Refs always Homer the blue bloods and I saw it too. Tricky tac early fouls not being called consistent. Like playing at AFH. It's not a conspiracy against us. Just the way it is and it happens all the time to everyone who isn't a blue blood.
