I think we'll get to 7 wins but I wouldn't say it won't be difficult. It's a generally overused cliché but there really is no bottom this year in the Big 12. TCU and KState will look bad conference record wise in the end but neither are a bad team. I would sign up for 3-1 against those two... I doubt we sweep both. We always struggle to win in Fort Worth especially it seems.

When I say shouldn't be difficult what I mean is protect home court and steal a couple on the road. I guess I'm not overreacting to Saturday yet...

13-18 (5-13) was my preseason guess. And I thought that was being a smidgen optimistic. (Knock on wood, since that's still mathematically possible ... )

How is it 'still' mathematical possible to go 5-13 in conference and end up 13-18 ??

Until Kalscheur gets his mojo back, my confidence is waning. Downgrading from a 10 to an 11.

Right now I’d sign up for the play in game. Still a really good season given the expectations. I hope for better but I’d take that.

Sticking with 9-10. TT win was great. OU hurt but that’s the big 12 road grind. Likely outcome of next six is 2-4. Team will need to develop more offensive cohesion to finish the season strong.

That is the exact same record I told someone after game 1. Although I had 9-4 in noncon, winning the buy games and beating Mizzou and 4-14 in conference.
