Good thing there's no pictures on the scorecard

Thanks for ruining the game for me. I was behind, watching it on Tivo. Maybe next time you could just post in the game thread, or title your post "Bears/Vikes". I hate it when people post spoilers in the title. Message Boards 101.

If you are behind you shouldn't be on the board at all... my 2 cents.

It's the Cyclones message board; I wanted to check out what people are saying about the b-ball game. It's not like I'm on the Bears or Vikes board. It's just common courtesy... my 2 cents.

I understand that. I'll drop it after my little rant: People need to realize that the way people watch TV is changing. People are often behind, or haven't watched shows yet at all due to DVRs. I'm all for discussion, but don't include spoilers, scores, etc. in thread titels. That's all, [/rant] Go Cyclones!

Orton looked like a practice squad qb. Bret might want to sign with them. He could beat these three out for playing time.

Yeah. If I didn't want to know the results, I'm not going to go onto a sports forum. I don't think there's any ettiquette broken in titling the thread "Vikings win ugly."

By the way:

So, if 2 minutes after Survivor ends, I title a thread "So and So Wins Survivor!" in the off topic forum, is that out of line? It has nothing to do with sports, but there is an off-topic forum. Just curious where we draw the line.

I will drop this after this post, but we shouldn't have to post based on what you may have or have not already seen.

Stay away from the boards if you haven't watched the game and will watch it later.

Again, I can't tell you how to post, but in most message boards, it just common courtesy. I'll REALLY drop it now. Peace, fellas.

I apologize in advance if i am reigniting something, but I agree with flynnhicks03 on that subject. I suppose no one can make a rule or tell someone not to post a thread title like this one...but IMO I believe that this is one of those internet common courtesy things and people should at least try to avoid doing this. Plus if you are the creator and actually want people to read it, you are better off going with an ambiguous title.

I didn't realize and didn't intend to create such a commotion. FWIW, I frequently watch games on DVR as well, and when I do, I don't have the radio on or go on boards.

Peace

So who is the best of the three bad Bears qbs?

And you Bears fans all wondered why Sexy Rexy was the starting QB. Brian Griese has never had a prime and doesn't appear as if he's going to develop one anytime soon, and last nite those of you clamoring for Orton all season found out why he's the 3rd string QB. At least Grossman appears to have the promise of developing into a decent QB when he plays without his fear of getting injured and with reckless abandon, but unfortunately for him that's usually when he gets injured (Grossman's career has all the makings of a despair.com poster)

How many days after the game until it can be mentioned in a thread title?

I just want to make sure I know what this "common courtesy" is.
