Nebraska's match record is 23-0 (15-0 conference) now, and they have a game record of 69-6. #9 (at the time) Texas is the only team to win two games in the same match against them.
Yeah, ISU's Armory is still here, but it's no longer usable as an athletic facility. The main floor has been filled in for years with offices and studio space for the design program. The building also houses DPS and Parking, and all three ROTC programs. There's nowhere to play volleyball...The NU facility is much like the ISU Armory. An old building painted red. Is the Armory still there? Such a venue gets a lot more excitement from a crowd of 1-2000 which might get lost in the Hilton.

That did get put on hold, but JP's "Master Plan" has nothing to do with it.I know CJ want to do about the same thing at ISU. The original talk was to renovate Forker. I think that probably got cut in lieu of the Hilton/JTS upgrades.
I had to start reading this thread. I couldn't believe how many times it kept showing up. At least I now know that Nacho Libre plays for us. Probably plays tenacious d.
Unfotunately, State Gym isn't really outfitted for spectator sports anymore. There's no room for people to sit and watch.I've oft thought that State would make a great facility for smaller venue sports ala volleyball, gymnastics - not sure if wrestling still draws enough to be in Hilton (??). Not to mention the history of that place is just too much to get rid of, if possible.
On the otherhand, I heard JP talking last year about moving the softball AND BASEBALL fields over to across Elwood from the stadium. Kind of a sports complex. I really like that and what you're speaking to seems to fit into that idea.
I saw on the "master plan" two sets - one with one building to the SE of Hilton, and another with a building to the SE and one to the SW. The SE one has offices for MBB, WBB, and VB and a practice court for each. That's all fine a good. Anybody know what the SW building would house? I'm a big advocate for practice where you play. Much prefer to have the basketball teams practice in Hilton and the the VB team whereever they play.
