True, Watching daily life in the prison could be boring once they get settled.

There are still areas they have to clean out, and as i remember they have to get to the warden's office so they can find out where an armory is so they can get more ammo..

This could be how the stories converge, as i'm guessing that armory will be in\near woodbury.

I thought he should have kept the other two guys. It would have been nice to have two extra bodies to help clear out space and I think they could have been good soldiers with time. They need to just keep corralling the zombies and rebarring them through the bars and fences. Why take any chances on a walking walker?

This is what i don't get... they seem reluctant to do this. In Ep1 they went and wasted a bunch of ammo instead of just hitting them through the fence. Last episode instead of just killing the walkers when out with carol, glenn leads them down the fence. I'd think killing them all through the fence would be simpler and less risky.

Also by firing their guns I think it would attract walkers from all around. If enough walkers are pressing against the fence I think it would come down.

I thought this too, it should just be someones job to walk around the perimeter killing zombies through the fence every day. I can see shooting the zombies in the yard, who knows what might happen if they get in a lot more hand to hand combat.

I think the armory is meant to be the prison's armory which would be located inside the prison. At least that makes sense to me.

I specifically remember them mentioning that it wouldnt be on site. (don't want the prisoners rioting and getting control of it after all). I can imagine a small number would be on site, but a much larger amount would be offsite.

Did anyone catch the shot on the patch in the fence? I am guessing she forgot to reseal it or didn't seal it up very well...
Good call. That's definitely a possibility. That'd add some extra prison drama so their stay there isn't too boring for them. I do agree with others that next week will primarily be about Andrea, but they gotta have something happen at the prison, don't they?

Finally got around to watching both episodes. Great start to the season. I also couldn't figure out why they didn't just kill them through the fence.

And after the leader of the prison group savagely killed the huge guy and seemed to almost enjoy it, I yelled at the TV "Kill him now, Rick. Kill him right now!" Then I felt dumb because I realized I was yelling at the TV.

While I was watching the episode, I thought when Maggie asks for some time alone with Hershel, and then she goes into the whole "It's okay to stop fighting..." speech, that she might kill him, considering she had that conversation with Beth how Hershel was now a liability. But, she didn't...

And I agree with other posters, they lingered a little too long on Carol unwinding the wire on the cut fence. I'm thinking she didn't get the wire back fastened well enough.

Yeah, I thought she was going to strangle him.

Also what is up with Carl just going out on his own, every episode I hope he dies.

I doubt he dies via walker anytime soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2 remaining prisoners kidnap him while he's out on one of his quests.

Surely something will happen to the little turd soon.

For you WWE fans...

Was I the only one who thought the alpha male of the prison group was going to flick a toothpick in Rick's face and say "Heyyy YO!" ?
