IDK- got into Booker-like foul territory.
Someone between him, KL, WC is always going to be off on any given game due to the nature of their games. He picked up early fouls it was his night to be off. Refs helped the home team and he was the one who got punished early. But WC decided he didn't want to score one point and KL made sure to do 2 bad things for every 1 good thing.
Might not be fair of course. Ejim I think has done well deferring to those two up until now if they weren't here the team would be built around him I see a team player in him.
Clyburn not scoring is really inexcusable in that game.
So someone between Ejim, KL, and WC will always be off in any given game? Newsflash: They were all three either terrible or rendered ineffective Friday night, not just one.
I'll admit the officiating was poor. It went from calling every ticky-tack foul on ISU early, to a slugfest for most of the game both ways, to ticky tack on Iowa, and then finally to a more reasonable balance. Crazy inconsistency.
But, if WC and KL weren't on this team, it would be built around McGee. I'm not so sure he isn't the best player anyway.
