As far as I know, the last time ISU broke into the Top 25 was 2005 Week 12:

Somewhat ironically, that was the year where we lost to Gary Patterson and his TCU Horny Toads in the Houston Bowl to cap off the season.

The year when ISU squeezed 7 whole wins out of a 10-win season.

We were also ranked that same season in the BCS ranking. #24 at 4-2. Then we lost to Oklahoma State.

Haven't been ranked in the AP Poll since 2005 but we were ranked in 2012.

I only look at the AP poll -- that was last after we beat Army in West Point to go to 3-0 at the start of the 2005 season. I was a freshman, a few months out of high school.

God, I am old now.
