Anyone doing a welfare check on the Rotters tonight after HCMC and the young ISU Cyclone FB team heads to a bowl game? A slim shot at the CCG still in play?

Here are the 145 + 16 POS that gave up on the team. Go crawl back under your rock.

So what you’re doing is telling people “never, ever respond to a poll” with your thoughts AT THE TIME or we will post your name and rub your face in it. Classy.

This thread is dumb, people can have opinions on coaching staffs that change throughout a season

When you say the rot has set in and a coach needs to move on, you fire him. You can’t change the decision that has been made. It’s over.

Lesson learned. Trust Campbell. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Their opinions mean nothing because they are complaining idiots who can completely change their mind tomorrow. Which shows they just make emotional decisions without thinking.

LOL. Wait, going 6-6 is no good now? You and the other Rotters like @Gunnerclone and @alarson did not even think we would be bowling. You are as dumb as the Rotters if you think this young ISU team needs to slow its roll. It is all gravy now. Idiot.

Campbell himself said that going 6-6 is for losers…. or something to that effect.

Let’s see how we finish out.

I predicted 3-5 wins this year (thought 4 wins should be the o/u). So CMC has done a great job IMO, but I had no idea how bad Cincy, TCU, Baylor, and BYU would be, so that did help out a lot.

I still believe CMC doesn’t have his teams ready to start the year…. year after year after year…. he has no idea how to beat Iowa…. and he’s one of the most ultra conservative coaches out there.

Had he not eventually relented, and opened up the offense, we’d be sitting on 2 or 3 wins right now tops. So I give him credit for doing so. No idea why he went back to that last week, and got another L we shouldn’t have had, but whatevs…. he can’t give up on his stubborn ground and pound style completely I guess?

Anyway…. go ahead and rip me to shreds if you see fit, but I will always be honest and tell you what I think…. sorry if that offends all of the supposed ‘true fans’ out there.

Sleep it off buddy. Enjoy the win. Can't imagine what runs through someone's head when they think "We got a great win, better go attack other Cyclones online". Says a lot about you, none of it positive. Especially when (as that poll shows), it was the opinion of the majority that voted at that time.

A pretty bad underperformance in 2021, a terrible 2022 season, and starting off 2023 by looking inept against Iowa\Ohio and you'd have to be pretty blind to not think there were some issues that needed to be addressed and changes made.

Those who aren't simple-minded can see things with nuance. Most of the people who voted yes in that poll also said that Campbell had earned the right to turn things around. Credit to Campbell and staff for executing that and getting the team back to a bowl.
This, plus CMC losing his cool on a fan while exiting the Ohio game. Don’t forget that key bit of context.

Of course people can complain. But you also have to take it when you are wrong. Just like people who want to defend the team and coaches after a rough start, get **** from people like you for doing it.

Tell us where we would be after we followed your advice to fire Matt Campbell. Tell us which coach you want and your opinions on all the financial costs and how you would handle it. Your opinions should not be listened to. And changing one’s mind when you already made a decision to terminate a coach is not something you can do.

Voting in an online poll does not make one a piece of ****.

Let it go. Our reward is we don't have to endure countless posts by the Frog and the Sith.

No need for flexing, bro. We are all (apparently) Cyclones.

I don’t care about a dumb poll that frustrated fans voted in early in the season. What is interesting to me are the posters that were conspicuously absent last night. Strange phenomenon indeed.
