Going to Sioux City Heelan was the worst thing that could have happened to Staten. He was overshadowed by the better players on Heelan's team, and he ended up not really panning out. Hopefully Staten can turn this around at Missouri State-West Plains.
he won a championship andwas named tourney MOP. he was the best player on that team. best on a ****** sc west team prior. good for him for graduating hs and going juco. if he makes it 2 yrs he will have value at d1 level. kid can play, just a knothead

I thought this kid was going to blow up. Watched him at the state tourney a couple years back and was amazed. Maybe after a couple JUCO years he will land at ISU!

A lot of people were wrong. ESPN had him in their top 25 when he was a Freshmen. Things also change, kids dont grow as expected, bad attitudes, etc.

I have watched him play a few times being originally from Sioux City. He definitely has some skills and is very athletic. Hopefully he will mature at the JUCO and be able to go up to D1 like originally expected.

I find this one hilarious. Cyismydogg thought he was a basketball guru and had people actually believing it.

He's working in a d1 program(bball) -I like the kid & he is credible.

I was standing up for cimd. You do realize he is a manager for butler. So he does have credibility.

It's the knee issues that hurt him. He had patella surgery over the summer, was not near 100% this season. I'm not saying he's great by any means, but he was injured much of this year and is better than what was shown this last season.

He can play. He needs coaching and like everyone said. So far in life he has been a knucklehead (Sometimes called a kid).

There are some kids that deserve a where are they now thread. I don't think Staten does. He sucks, he was good in like 8th grade.
