Didn't mean to offend. I lived there for 20 years, and driving down I-29 by Morrell did produce some stinkiness. Maybe it's changed, but it's not ignorant, it's fact. That doesn't make it a bad place, and if you see my posts prior to this, you'll see that I said as much.

Sorry, but we do hear a lot of that kind of crap from others. I get a little defensive because there has been such a concentrated effort by the city in the past 10-20 years at urban renewal/development. I would think most cities have a smell if you're in the right place. Seriously driving by Morrell or the water treatment plant at times kind smell a little but some make it seem like the whole city stinks all the time.

While he may end up actually 5 star guy, stating as a fact that he will end up top 10 is a little ridiculous. There's still a long time before he winds up on campus. There's just no way to know, when a kid is 14 years old, that he will end up being a top 10 recruit.

I realize that unbridled optimism is the norm around here, but this is just another instance of it going a little overboard.
actually this is not unbridled optimism. hes a lot father along in his game that HB was as a freshman. Wes is going to end up being about 6'4" or 6'5" point guard like DG except faster, with better moves and a better shot

he has all the physical tools to be the top PG in his class. trust me on this one.

I'm glad you bring this up. I miss the local food of Sioux City. I'll argue to the death that Sioux City has the best pizza anywhere. Jerry's Pizza and El Fredo's has yet to be matched. Townhouse has the best buffalo wings anywhere (although The Peanut in Kansas City is a close second).

Sioux City is my hometown and I love the place. I don't live there but I'll stand up for it when people bag on it.

So where do you like Omaha area pizza. Pleae do not say Big Freds.

I'm up for suggestions. I live in West O so everything out here is chain. I'm not a Big Fred's fan nor do I think Zios is all that great. Any ideas would help!

It's sad when the best I can find is a pan pizza from Pizza Hut...
