I have always took Pants' "I know something you don't" shtick as a tongue-in-cheek jab at posters who regularly do that rather than him actually thinking he knows something that we don't.

Oh, dear, I probably have ruined his fun.

If that's the case, then I apologize. But it's a little hard for most posters to tell. I'd still say it's kind of a crappy thing to do.

Much like with language, emoji usage is fluid. That particular emoji started as a 'speak no evil' and has morphed more into a general 'shy mouth zipped' emoji. I would not read into it at all.

Also, the eggplant emoji is used for a penis. Just looking out for you fathers with teenage daughters with that one.
