2013 BMW X3 28i

A nice machine, solid power and great gas mileage for a vehicle it's size. Handles like a car with an SUV body. Always wanted a BMW while growing up, figured now was as good a time as any. I've been a GM guy all my life (18 years of driving/owning) but when they scrapped the Trailblazer and replaced it with the hideous Terrain I had no choice but to look elsewhere for a mid-size all wheel drive vehicle. I don't need the third row seat that the Acadia has, but it does look good overall. Highly recommend the X3 or X5.

Two months ago I switched form Nisan Maxima to 2011 Lincoln MKZ hybrid. I went the Lincoln route after spending 2 years absolutely sure my next car was going t be Volvo S80. So far I love it - - and I'm getting 40 mpg even with Interstate driving. The Nissan was around 23 mpg so I'm loving the time I'm *not* spending at the gas station. The one weird thing with the Lincoln is that there isn't an oil-life gauge. I got pretty accustomed to my car reminding me when to get an oil change scheduled. Lincoln wants me to subscribe to their sync my ride system where they send me emails about oil changes, etc. Screw that - I'm not paying them $200 a year for that.

We also have a '04 Cherokee for tailgating and winter driving. Still looks great and runs great … since we put new heads in late this winter. :(

And my husband has a '12 Ford F150 for work.

Looking for a 3rd vehicle sometime soon: Maybe a mid-2000s 3/4T, maybe a good Duramax

2009 GMC Sierra Extended Cab 4x4 WT with the SL package. Has been a fantastic truck, and almost exactly what I wanted aside from the 4.8l instead of the 5.3l. Time to trade it in though. 71k miles. Need a more fuel efficient commuter.

My brother and I are currently building a 68 Camaro with twin turbos. That should be fun to drive.
