Really bad officiating in this game but LSU can't miss. No way they can keep this up all game though.

59 points in a half? And that’s not because Iowa is playing that bad on defense - everything LSU puts up seems to go in.
Idk… most have been wide open shots and layups from crisp interior passing. A lot of that is due to the defense which seems to mostly just want to get the defensive possession over as quickly as possible so they can go back to playing offense.

Now Iowa fans are realizing what it feels like to go up against a team that can’t miss…. like Iowa has done a few times to other teams in this tournament.

Iowa is not out of it yet though…. they can get hot too…. and LSU has been known to get up on teams and let off the gas.

LSU’s depth is a LOT better. They can sit their best player whereas Iowa cannot.

Clinic on how officiating can set a sport back decades. Gaining huge viewership and put all the stars on the bench on highly suspect calls. Not all costing Iowa the game but just incredibly horrible awareness by the officials.

It does favor the deeper team. And the deeper team is clearly LSU. I don't think anything is getting set back decades, however.

LSU came in with a good game plan. Bump, push, and annoy the crap out of CC and get her to retaliate.
Then make sure all your second string players basically go nuclear from 3 and become unstoppable.
Add to that the eye-burning outfit of that clown Kim Mulkey and you have a recipe for winning the title.

How can the refs not see the glitter coach continuously walking on the court during play? She surely can’t hide in that outfit.

Fouls have gone both ways though, Iowa has more free throws, this is not LSU getting preferential treatment by officials this is officials calling fouls both ways, whether they are correct or not, who knows.

Jasmine Carsen basically the difference in the game. Off the bench for 21 points 7/7 with 5 threes including that heat check just toss it up because it will go in 3 at the end.
