He also led the team in scoring fwiw.Really on White? The only time I really saw him get heckled a lot was at Ohio State last year when he was shooting FT's and he went 3-7 from the line
He also led the team in scoring fwiw.

Last year when we had KSU in Hilton, Angel Rodriguez airballed really early in the game and we never let him forget it for the rest of the game. It definitely got in his head. His stats for the game vs the rest of the year proved it too. We need to do the same thing for every airball Iowa has.We have to get under somebody's skin (when they have the ball),
...at the same time, I think we need to show our classiness and clear-up our language also.
That's not what the thread is about.
And then you found $20? or...Last year we had the big ten reject and DUI chant going pretty hard on Korie.
Ha! No those are just solid chants that are making fun of factual events and not how ugly adam woodbury is (which he totally is and I would boo him if I could). And then you found $20? or...
Yeah... this thread is about the ISU crowd and student section getting under the skin of the Iowa players. It appears based on Iowa's lack of success in Ames that they do a pretty good job of it.
Since 1984 Iowa has a record of 5-11 in Hilton Coliseum. In 1989 Iowa won by 2, in 1995 the 12th ranked hoks beat an unranked ISU team by 6, in 1997 the 10th ranked hoks beat an unranked ISU team by 1, in 2001 the 12th ranked hoks beat ISU by 25, and in the 2003 NIT game the hoks beat an unranked ISU team by 1 point.
Three of their five wins were by 2 points or less and a fourth game was a 6 point win.
Iowa has also lost in Ames when ranked 12th, 16th, and 7th in that time span to lower ranked or unranked ISU teams.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Iowa hasn't had much success anywhere the last 10 years or so. Iowa's record is worse at Wisconsin, Michigan St, etc.
Hilton is a tough place to play no doubt, but it's not the holiest of all holy like you want to make it out to be. Wisconsin has lost 7 times in Bo Ryan's tenure at Madison. That's 7 times in 13 years I believe. Indiana is one of the great mecca's of college basketball and Assembly Hall is one of the most intimidating places to play in collegiate basketball.
These seniors for Iowa have played in all of them, so I guess they've seen a little of everything at this point in their career.
Iowa State has a very good team this year to go along with the hostile environment so there is no doubt it will be surprising if Iowa wins.
A .910 win pct. (181-18) at homeYeah that's not correct
A .910 win pct. (181-18) at home
from his bio
I've been to the Kohl Center and Hilton for big games, and while the Kohl Center is 20x nicer, it really was only loud maybe 60% of the game.Yeah they lost 3 games at home last year (two to teams that didn't even make the tourney) and they lost 4 at home the year before that
