What is your pet peeve

I hate when I'm in a line waiting to get checked out (grocery store, dept. store etc...) and an employee comes to open up another lane and then people behind me sprint over to get first in line at the newly opened register. Eh.... don't you think the people ahead of you in line deserve to have the chance to move over to the new line first? Makes perfect sense to me.

Alright here is some. Mostly at sporting event

1st. At sporting events, people who think the empty seat next to them, which is not their seat, uses it as a coat rack.
2nd. Person sitting behind you has a kid who constantly knees you in the back of the head or pulls on your hair.
3rd. Women next to you, who has no idea what is going on and always points out the obvious.
4th. People expecially at Hilton who have those nice parquet seats and just sit there like a bump on a log not cheering, why not just sit at home and watch it on T.V.

Outside of sports.
People who drive with their headlights off at night.
Semi-Drivers ( even tho they don't have to) don't merge to let the person on the highway.
Of course people who ride the fast lane slow.
White trash Hawk fans or people who claim they are Hawk fans but no nothing about sports.

The Iowa Diamond commercials are the worst, the ones with the president of the compay talking about stupid things. He drives me crazy, and I have to turn it off when he comes on.

1. When people say "suposably"

2. People who talk loudly on phones in a cubicle workspace. "Lady, your cube isn't soundproof!"

3. People who write checks in the express lane at the grocery store. These people should be flogged, it's called the EXPRESS LANE for a reason.

4. People who take the last drop of coffee from the office coffee pot and don't have the decency to make another. These people are the lowest forms of life and don't deserve to live.

1. People who chew with their mouth open and then leave their mouth open to clean their teeth with their tongue. I called my grandma on it Thursday at Thanksgiving. She stood behind the couch over my shoulder eating a cookie. Then cleaned her teeth right in my ear with her tongue and mouth open. I just turned around and asked her if she was really still eating the same cookie she'd been eating for 5 minutes.

A few days ago, I had to drive some of my basketball players to a practice and one of them had a bag of chips and was chewing with his mouth completely open. I told him if he continued to do it I would stop the van and make him stand outside til he was finished.

Bottom line...eating with your mouth open is ridiculously rude and inconsiderate of others.

2. People who whine and complain about how bad America is and how we've been doing everything wrong for hundreds of years and we need to change it. We have to cater to the minorities requests, but our feelings are ignored.

For example, gay marriage. My professor in college was gay and constantly would bash on our country because we were unfair to him. He said he would throw away invitations to heterosexual weddings because it was discriminatory towards him, but we as a country should change the way we do things because of an extremely small minority.

Also gun laws...people who think we shouldn't be able to own guns.

Bottom line is, what really "grinds my gears" are these people who complain about how bad our country is and try to change every stance our country has had for hundreds of years. If it is truly that bad, then move to another country. Period.

People on message boards, usually liberals who are smug and quick to shoot down everyone else's opinion, rather than listening to them first, simply because they saw or read something about it in the media. It HAS to be their way and only their way and if you don't agree with them 100% then you MUST be an idiot. They refuse to discuss anything, they'd rather just call names and try to make everyone with a different viewpoint look stupid.

4. Pedophiles.
